Safety centre
Travelling with people you don't know takes trust. Here's how we help — and what you can do.
Emergency helplines (tap to call)
Share your trip with family
Start a live trip and send the tracking link on WhatsApp. They can follow you on a map without an account.
Women-only rides
Women drivers can offer rides that only women can book, and women passengers can filter for them.
Check profiles & reviews
Look at ratings, reviews, trips completed and the profile photo before you book or accept someone.
Keep chats in ChaloChalo
Agree the fare, pickup point and time in chat so there's a record. Numbers unlock only after a confirmed booking.
Never pay in advance
Pay the driver during or after the trip. Anyone asking for advance payment or bank details upfront is a red flag — report them.
Match the car
Check that the car's model, colour and driver match the listing before getting in.
Verified live locations
Live bus and car pool locations are checked for realistic movement. Suspicious ones are labelled.
Report problems
Use “Report” on any profile, ride or live trip. Our moderators review every report.
Before every trip
- Meet at a busy, public pickup point (bus stands, petrol pumps, markets).
- Tell a friend or family member who you're travelling with and send them the trip link.
- Wear your seat belt and ask the driver to keep to the speed limit on motorways.
- Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, don't get in. You can always cancel.
